Haute Mail:

Dear Haute,

I consider myself as Ms.Blah, can you send me some suggestions to add color to my wardrobe. Any help would be appreciated.

Whew! Zara March 2011 Lookbook came just in a nick of time.
If you consider yourself a  Plain Jane and want to add a pop of color to your Spring wardrobe then you're just in luck. This season is the perfect time to start.
For a modest fashionista, incorporate bright bold accessories like an oversized clutch or a pair of color block platforms. If you're the type that swears to only wear black and nothing but black, put on a colored blazer with black piping or lapels. The black accents will tone it down so it's not too much of a drastic change.

Everybody talks about being in red bottoms, but what about green, blue, or  pink bottoms?

While you're cleaning out your closet to make room for fresh spring colors make sure to keep your favorite essential pieces, this way you won't go broke trying to keep up with the Joneses trends.

Swing over to Zara for more looks.

"Loving the pics and that outfit hun, I always wanted to order stuff off that website(Asos.com) but was kinda scared because its a U.K website. Someone told me that you have to be careful when ordering from U.K sites but now that i see u have purchase stuff from them i think I'll be doing the same"

Aqua Sequin One Sleeve Cut Out Dress

ASOS BLACK Cornelli Detail Mesh Maxi
Online shopping for me is starting to be a hobby, now for my friend Keisha she is pretty much a Stan (stalker + fan)
I mean she is the real reason why I actually bought something, I normally shop online for shoes but just browse when it came to the clothes. I always thought that the UK sizes run small and compared my body shape to the models on the site. You know...thick legs, big butt make them blink fast (well not exactly) but having a little curves here and there makes a difference in size.

As you can see we are women with curves and we both agreed that the dress fits perfect and are true to size. The models are wearing US size 2 (UK size 8) Keish have more hips than I do and is wearing a size 8 and I am wearing a size 6. If you're interested in shopping for a dress for the holidays Asos is having a great sale up to 70% off, click here to see more.

Haute Mail:

"I HAVE A FASHION QUESTION. I WENT TO THE GOODWILL TODAY AND PICKED UP A FEW PIECES. I TRIED ON A GREEN SEQUIN DRESS AND IT WAS VERY CUTE, $10.00, BUT I DIDNT GET IT. THINKING..WHERE THE HECK WOULD I WEAR THIS. I'M THINKING I SHOULD GO BACK AND GET IT. WHAT DO YOU SAY? I DID BUY A BLACK AND GOLD SHORT SLEEVE SEQUIN TOP FOR $8.00, BUT I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT TO WEAR WITH IT."

Tips to wearing a sequin dress is to keep everything else to a minimum. Accessories, shoes and even your makeup should not overwhelm this look.

 Do
  • wear a black mini sequin dress with sheer black opaque stockings
  • wear nude shoes with a colorful sequin
  • pair your sequin top with a long blazer and/or denims
  • pair a colorful sequin jacket with a casual look to add glam
